Homemade banana bread is something that I grew up with and my mom still makes for my kids. I remember the smell of fresh bread coming from the kitchen as I was getting ready upstairs. She would make the little tiny loaves and then wrap them up in tinfoil stacked on the counter for all of us to enjoy.
My mom still makes banana bread on a regular basis, wraps it up in tinfoil, and brings it to my kids. It is one of my kids favorite things when she shows up with a little tinfoil loaf of heaven.
My littles and I now make my moms banana bread in tiny loaves and create our own memories. The smell of fresh baking banana bread in the oven at my own home brings me so much joy knowing that hopefully my littles will remember banana bread how I always have.
