10 MINUTE BEACH WAVES
We all want those pretty “un-done” beach waves, but I don’t know about you, I don’t have a beach I can go to to achieve that look. I wanted to share with you my quick and easy way to do effortless beach waves with GHD!
First, Brush your hair out. It doesn’t matter how your hair was previously, it could be straight, curled loosely, braided, etc.
Next, section your hair off. I do my sections about an inch wide because I like my hair to have a lot of body in this look. You can do whatever though. If you would like super subtle beach waves you can do big sections.
Take a piece of hair, again, the size depends on how full you would like your look to be. You are going to move the flat iron back and forth forward and back creating waves in your hair. You don’t want the waves to be even, so slide the straightener down different amounts before creating the next wave.
Create waves for each section of hair until you reach the top layer. I always do more sections of waves on the top than the bottom. I just prefer that look on myself, but if you are going for a more subtle look you can do less waves.
Now RUN and grab yourself a GHD flat iron. Seriously guys, this baby has changed my life. It makes getting ready so quick and easy. It heats up in less than 15 seconds. It doesn’t damage my hair at all because of the ceramic heat technology. It also has floating plates so it doesn’t pull your hair out. One of my favorite things about it is that it will go into sleep mode and turn itself off after no use for 30 minutes. I always forget to turn my flat iron off so I absolutely love this feature. I promise, this is the best investment for your hair that you can make!
