2 Toned.

I hope you all had an amazing Monday. Mine was filled with fabric stores and burnt fingers from a glue gun. I saw this amazing table cloth on Instagram that I knew I needed in my life. The only problem is that it isn’t for sale… This darling girl had hers custom made… [Insert craziness that I am going to make my own!] So I went for it. Man oh man I am no where near a sewing person! So let me describe this amazing table cloth for you. Its yellow fabric with white polka dots and then it tiers down with ruffles down the sides. Ah-mazing right?! Ya that’s what I thought too until I burned my fingers off hot gluing all the ruffles because I didn’t know how to sew it. I ended up using 8 yards of fabric and still don’t have enough. Ha I will get this table cloth done if its the death of me ha.
What did your Monday consist of?

I wore this look to ALT on a day filled with classes. I love that I felt comfortable and confident in it. Something I learned at ALT is don’t be afraid to go and talk to a potential sponsor! No matter how big or small you are, if you have an idea/pitch and can sell it they are going to love you! They are all so sweet and kind and just regular people like you and I! Sponsors are intimidating… Make sure to ask them exactly what they are looking for so you can deliver the perfect post for them. After the conference [a few days, give them sometime to recoup just like you needed] send them an email thanking them for chatting with you! Remind them your pitch/idea for working with them. They meet tons of people so they aren’t going to remember to reach out to you. You and your blog are amazing so don’t sell yourself short! You can do it! Be strong & stay true to yourself and your blog.
