How to Wear Tunics Dressed Up & Dressed Down
I love a good tunic and I love to wear them different ways than expected. I don’t think that many people realize how easily that they can be dressed up by just tucking them into your favorite pencil skirt. I love that it takes a top and makes it look completely different than dressing it down. I am obsessed with this oversized ruffle tunic from Ruthie Grace so much that I wanted to share with you how I dress it up and dress it down making it look completely like a different piece.
Dressing it up is so simple. I went with a denim pencil skirt because they pair with everything. It doesn’t matter if your tunic is ruffled like the one I am wearing here or even a regular tunic like here. All you do is pair it with a pencil skirt and tuck it all in. It takes it from the oversized tunic look into something completely different. I went kind of causal with my dressed up look pairing it with the perfect studded booties that I can’t seem to take off these days and I am obsessed with how this look turned out.
Dressing it down couldn’t be more simple. This tunic speaks for itself with the beautiful blush color and the flirty ruffle detail at the bottom. I love the oversized look of it because some days I like to eat a lot of donuts and I don’t have to worry about it in this top. Pair it with your favorite skinny jeans like I have here, or even with leggings because it is long enough in the back that it is super flattering with them too. I took my booties (see I told you I am obsessed) from my dressed up look and paired them here and I love that it gives it a little umph and dressed up look.
Super simple right? Plus you get two completely different looks out of one feminine ruffled tunic and studded booties with just grabbing your favorite pencil skirt. You could also pair both of these looks with some cute wedges and you will be a complete and total babe.
