I am always really indecisive when it comes to picking what or where we eat, and Zach honestly truly doesn’t care so it usually takes us a long time to pick what we are eating. Since we both know it takes forever, I have learned to make an appetizer to keep Zach’s hanger at bay. We love to have a variety of different foods and I love to find appetizers where we can just make a few for the two of us at a time.
I wanted to mix things up a little bit and we are having some family over next week so I thought I would make some dipping sauce for the appetizers that we could try and also share with our family and friends. You guys, these were so delicious I just had to share them with you.
First I am going to show you how I made Avocado Ranch. Seriously this is so yummy with Mozzarella Sticks, Crispy Dill Pickles, or BBQ Wings. I honestly could just eat it with a spoon…
Ingredients
1 Large or 2 Small Avocados
Ranch Packet
16 oz Sour Cream
1 TBS Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper to taste
You are going to put everything into your blender. We used our Blentec Blender Jar and it worked wonders, but any blender will work. I sliced up the avocado before I put it in the blender just so it would be quicker, but I don’t feel as if that is necessary.
Blend all that goodness up and serve! Seriously, it is that easy and so so delicious!
I also made a yummy Honey Mustard and Marinara Sauce. I will list the recipes below for both of those for you! I served them all together with Buffalo Wings, Crispy Dill Pickles, Mozzarella Sticks, and Pepperoni Pizzeria Bites. I just snagged all the yummy Farm Rich Snack Freezer Appetizers at Walmart when I was grocery shopping. They were all easily found down the freezer appetizer aisle. There were so many other yummy options that we can’t wait to try next weekend like the Breaded Mushrooms, Italian Style Meatballs, and the Toasted Ravioli Mozzarella Bites. You can check and see if your store is on this list and try some at the demos they are holding.
Something so fun and amazing that Walmart and Farm Rich are doing is if you go to Walmart and purchase at least one Farm Rich product, one Walmart fresh item (avocados, tomatoes, celery, etc.), plus any special ingredients you want to include to create a snack hack between today and August 23rd, you can be entered to win $10,000! You just need to create a yummy recipe for a snack. The main judging focus will be the quality of the recipe and the use of your required ingredients, so don’t stress if you are not a professional photographer. Your phone camera will work great because they are not judging on the quality of the images. You can enter the Back You Snack contest by clicking here. I know you can create something so delicious and when you do let me know so I can try it! Get your recipe ready girl. You are going to rock that contest!
