3 Family Activities to do Outside with your Toddler.
Playing outside the second that it is warm enough to not freeze our little fingers off is one of our family’s absolute favorite things to do. We love to do everything outside from shoveling (King’s favorite) to going on walks to the horses, or even jogging in the morning with the stroller and one cute boy strapped in. This cute little stinker boy would spend every second from the moment he opened his eyes until we carried him to bed outside if he could. My only problem is that I love to be outside with him, but my silly allergies are always keeping me indoors because I just couldn’t handle them until now.
I am so excited to share three fun activities that we like to do as a family outside with you and then share my secret weapon of what lets me enjoy my family time with you because trust me, if you suffer from seasonal allergies you need this like ASAP.
What you will need:
Bubbles
Chalk
Pool Noodle
Football (or really any type of ball)
Your Family
Xyzal® Allergy 24HR
The first thing we like to do is to play catch with the football with King. We like to keep our games pretty simple so he can understand what is going on and will play with us. I snagged this pool noodle and we either have him throw the ball over or under the noodle or he gets to hold the noodle and we throw it over or under. He thinks it is so fun to do both throwing the football or holding the noodle. Letting him do both parts of the “game” keeps him entertained longer and giggling for hours.
Second we love to blow bubbles as a family. It may seem silly, but we love it! We have contests to see who can blow the biggest bubble, most bubbles, or stomp on the most. King loves the stomping one the most. While he can’t necessarily blow bubbles yet, he has the funnest time laughing and flinging his bubble “juice” around with us and it makes our hearts burst.
Lastly we love to play jump on the shapes. It helps him to work on learning his shapes and jumping. He loves to stomp on them and see how high he can jump. I just draw different shapes on the driveway and then call out a shape and he has to jump on it. Sometimes we see how many shapes we can throw the football over, and other times we see if we can jump on every shape down the line to the other side.
These are all simple activities that you can do with your littles, but what makes me be able to be outside with my family is Xyzal® Allergy 24HR. It is easy to snag at your local CVS and I always grab both the 10 count package (to keep in my bag or car for travel) and then the 35 count to keep at home. I love that it starts working in 60 minutes so I can take it before bed and then be ready to play outside the next morning. It is perfect for me because it gives me 24 hour relief of sneezing, runny nose, itchy watery eyes, and itchy nose or throat. I just take one every day and I am set (always use product as directed)!
Playing outside with my family is so important to me and I love that I can now with the help of Xyzal® Allergy 24HR. What is your allergy saving grace? What is your favorite ways to play outside with your family?
