3 Tips For Easier Diaper Changes
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of High Street Formulas. The opinions and text are all mine.
Let’s be honest ladies, we all would love easier diaper changes, right? These three tips will help make diaper changes easier in a flash.
Newborns, so sweet, pure, and so many diapers am I right? Diaper changes were something that was always frustrating with King. I always seemed to be missing something as I was mid diaper change and then had to figure out how to get a baby without a diaper on to the spot where the thing I was missing was and back without an accident all over… Does this happen to anyone else? I swear I would always be one diaper short, the bum cream was somewhere else or just run out of wipes every time. This time with Lettie I have created a little system that makes diaper changes so much quicker and simpler so I thought I would share it with you and hopefully help make diaper changes a little easier at your house too!
|| HAVE A DESIGNATED SPACE FOR DIAPER CHANGES ||
When I had King everyone told me I would never use a changing station and I wish I wouldn’t have listened to them. This made for everything we needed to be in different places and we never had an extra stash on hand in the room either. When I found out I was pregnant with Lettie I knew I wanted to have a spot where everything would be, but a pretty spot. Having everything in one place has been game changing and has made things so much simpler!
|| KEEP EXTRAS ON HAND ||
We keep an extra sleeve of diapers, wipes, and our favorite High Street Formulas diaper rash cream on hand in her room always. We also keep an extra couple of all of those in our car so if for some reason the diaper bag is out then we aren’t out of luck. Having favorite products on hand is a must. I am pretty particular about the products I use with Lettie and so I don’t want to run out especially of our diaper rash cream. I finally found one that we love, High Street Formulas big tub, so if we ran out and she had a rash I would be so upset. We are obsessed with High Street Formulas. I love that it is gentle on her little skin, safe for her, and medicated to help with her rash. It doesn’t only help diaper rash to heal but also is the perfect barrier to help prevent your little one from forming a rash. I swear there is nothing worse than a little one with an awful diaper rash which is why we keep the small tube in our diaper bag, car, and at my moms, and then the in Lettie’s room with a spare in the drawer. If we have to use our spare then I just order one on Amazon real quick and replace it as soon as it comes.
|| MAKE THE SPACE PRETTY ||
As silly as it sounds take the time to make the space pretty. Keep the diapers in a drawer or cute basket, same with the wipes. I do leave the High Street Formulas cream out because 1 it has darling packaging and 2 it helps Zach to remember to put it on her when it is sitting out on the dresser. When the space is pretty and uncluttered it makes you want to be there and go there for diaper changes!
I hope this helps to make diaper changes just a little bit simpler and quicker at your house. It has been game changing for us and we love having one spot where everything including our extras are in case we run out! I would love to know what you do to simplify things at your house!
