Henleys are such a huge trend right now and I am obsessed with them. I love how flattering they are and how versatile they are. Plus, if you are a nursing mama these are the perfect tops for you because of how they button down the front making nursing a breeze! I can’t get enough of wearing them and you will see them on me all fall and winter long. I am excited to share with you how to wear a henley three different ways today! These are things that I think most of us have in our closet and just different ways to layer your henley to make different outfits.
How to Wear a Henley 3 Different Ways
|| LAYERING WITH A MILITARY STYLE JACKET ||
Military jackets are back in this year and I am so happy about it. They are jackets that can be layered so easily and match just about everything that is in your closet. Pairing it over your henley gives it a different texture and dresses your henley down a little bit. I tucked my henley into my jeans to create a good waist where my jacket is slightly oversized. Lastly I paired it with some amazing gold booties to add just a touch of something special. I also would wear this with some sneakers if I wanted something even more casual.
|| LAYERING WITH DENIM ||
I wanted to keep on the causal kick so I paired it with an oversized distressed denim jacket. I snagged this jacket off of Amazon and love that it was super affordable and it is really functional as a mom (you can raise your arms in it ha). Don’t be afraid to pair denim with denim, I just try to keep different shades of denim together (my jeans are a darker wash and my jacket lighter) so they each can stand on their own. Sneakers finish off this look so you can run errands, around with your littles, or walking to classes on campus.
|| LAYERING WITH A CARDIGAN ||
The last look I wanted to dress up a little bit so I paired it with a cardigan. The cardigan paired with heels gives it a dressed up look but you also could pair it with sneakers or some cute loafers and it would dress it down really easily. I did some maroon heels with a gold accent to give the look a feel of fall. I picked a lower heel height to be functional if I was headed somewhere with my littles. This look is simple yet dressed up for date night or wherever else you are headed.
I hope this helps you to know the best ways to style your henley and different ways that you can wear one piece in your closet. Henleys are super versatile and these are just a couple ways that you can pair them. XX
