5 Drug Store Must Have Hair Accessories
I get asked all the time which hair products/accessories are worth splurging on and which ones are worth saving your money on. This post isn’t sponsored at all, just me sharing my favorite products with you that I snag on Amazon or Target. Let’s be honest, mostly on Amazon because hello free 2 day shipping and I don’t even have to leave my house.
1. Hair Ties with Grippers – Having extensions makes my hair super heavy. The only elastics that will keep my hair from slipping is the elastic with grippers on them. There is no use in splurging on hair elastics if you ask me because I just loose them or they break.
2 . Tiny Bobby Pins – I feel like good bobby pins are worth splurging on just because of hwo well they keep your hair in, but if you use tiny ones sometimes like I do, then snag them at the drugstore. If they are something that you use all the time then maybe they are worth splurging a littl emore on, but if not then girl the drugstore is your place to go!
3. Wet Brush – The only brush I use is the wet brush and I absolutely love it. It is what my hair stylist recommends and works the best on my extensions. I have tried a million and seven brushes expensive and drug store and I always always come back to the wet brush. I will say I did snag a Wet Brush Paddle brush (it is what is in these pictures because it didn’t have nasty hair all over it) and I don’t love it at all, I just stick with the original.
4. Hair Cuffs & Scrunchies – Snagging hair accessories like hair cuffs at the drugstore is always my go to. I know they are most likely trendy so spending a lot of money on them isn’t something that I feel is necessary at all. They are amazing ones on Amazon & at Target.
Some hair tips and tricks with my drugstore hair accessories are that I always tie my hair up in a loose bun before I go to bed with a scrunchie in it. I make the scrunchie really loose and wake up looking like a hot mess, but it does help my curls stay in ton better.
To keep track of all my bobby pins I use the HairPin Pal because it is magnetic and makes things so much simpler. Also when King seems to spill them all over the floor (it happens allll the time) it is so easy to just flip it over and it will pick up all the bobby pins!
