5 Ways to Look & Feel Put Together for Christmas Morning Pictures
I think we all want to look presentable in Christmas morning photos right? One of you babes asked me to do a post about how you can look put together in Christmas morning photos in 5 minutes or less and I decided I was up for the challenge! These are ways that you can hurry & “get ready” and feel good about someone taking your picture. They are truly simple things that can make a big difference!
|| 1 – CURL YOUR HAIR THE NIGHT BEFORE ||
This is my biggest tip. Curl your hair kind of tight (tighter than you normally want it to look) before you go to bed. Before you tuck yourself in pull your hair on the top of your head in a scrunchie and sleep with it there. When you wake up, take the scrunchie out and run your fingers through your hair or lightly brush it out and you are set!
|| 2 – WEAR A CC CREAM OR A LITTLE BRONZER ||
If you have un-even skin tone I would suggest a CC cream to even things out. Quickly throw it on your fingers, rub it in all over your face and run out to the Christmas tree! If you have pretty even skin tone I would say add a little bronzer under your cheekbones and on your hairline to add a little color to your face and you’re set!
|| 3 – BUY A PAIR OF PAJAMAS THAT YOU CAN WEAR EVERY YEAR ||
Feeling good in what you are wearing makes a huge difference. Buy a pair of neutral solid pajamas that you can wear every single year on Christmas that you feel good about yourself in. I have worn these pajamas for the past three years on Christmas morning and will be in them again this year. They were worth every penny because I feel good in them which is truly all that matters especially when you are having your picture taken.
|| 4 – LAY EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO DO IN THE MORNING OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE ||
Having your pajamas, CC cream or bronzer, and brush out already in the morning makes the process of getting ready so much quicker. Then you aren’t looking for anything and it is all set out and ready for you.
|| 5 – SMILE & BE HAPPY ||
I think the biggest part of “looking” good in pictures is having confidence, smiling, and being genuinely happy. It doesn’t matter if you have yesterdays makeup all over your face if you are laughing, having a good time, and genuinely happy that truly is all that matters!
I hope these simple little tips help you to be able to feel your best on Christmas morning. I hope you have the best day surrounding the tree with your loved ones & the people you are most grateful for!
