5 Ways to Make Valentines Day Special for Your Kids
|| PINK & RED BREAKFAST ||
This is something so simple that little kids love. All you need is a little bit of food coloring and you are set. Put some red or pink coloring in their milk or water, in your pancake batter, and then serve bacon & strawberries with it. Super simple and something that seems really festive and special but only takes a second!
|| CUT HEARTS OUT & HEART ATTACK SOMEONE ||
This is something fun that can involve them. If they are little you can precut out the hearts and have them color on them, if they are cutting age then they can cut the hearts out and color on them or write messages on them for someone that they love. Then you can go heart attack their front door or car somewhere!
|| MAKE A SPECIAL VALENTINES DAY TREAT ||
We love to make Valentine’s Day popcorn at our house. All I do is pop regular popcorn and then put melted white chocolate on it and stir it around and then spread it out on a cookie sheet. Some times if I am feeling fancy I will drizzle pink & red melted chocolate on it and then I let King put Valentine’s sprinkles all over it!
|| HAVE STREAMERS AND BALLOONS COMING FROM THEIR ROOM OR ON THEIR CHAIR AT BREAKFAST ||
How fun would it be to be a little kid and open your bedroom door to having hearts with messages all over your door? This is something that I am going to start for my kids this year and then buy a few balloons at the local grocery store to put on their chairs in the morning when they come out to breakfast. Super cheap & simple that also makes a huge impact!
|| VALENTINES DAY TREASURE HUNT ||
We have always done little gifts for our kids for Valentines’s Day like a game that we can play as a family or something a long those lines. Something fun that you could do to lead them to their gift. All you would need to do is put the clues on hearts and hide them around your house with their little gift being at the end!
