7 Items on our Baby Wishlist
Little sister is going to be here in just a few weeks. Part of me is so anxious about keeping two littles alive, happy, and thriving, and the other part of me can’t wait to have another member of our family. I thought I would be a lot more prepared for this baby than I am. I told my mom the other day that I felt like with King (my first) that I didn’t have anything and so I bought everything, was so excited, and had everything I needed plus some. This sweet little girl, well it is the opposite. I don’t know what I have, it is in totes in the basement that need gone through, we have some but not others and trying to remember what I need for a newborn is overwhelming to me quite honestly. I feel like there is so much fluff that people tell you that you need or is out there but you really just need the necessities and it is trying to sift through that to figure it out that overwhelms me. Of course I love the fluff stuff and will be getting her bows, shoes, and other random things, but making sure that we have the necessities is where I need to start.
Here is my baby wishlist of things that I am loving, some we will probably order, others will stay on our wishlist that we swoon over. Some things are fluff, others are necessities but hopefully writing it all down and sharing will help me to figure out what we really need because well, it is that time!
1 – Bassinet – We are currently looking into the HALO Swivel and doing a basket on a stand with a Snuggle Me or a Dock A Tot in it. I am currently researching the options and what will work best for our little family.
2 – Carseat – I have King’s carseat, but he was such a puke baby that I am wanting something new. Right now I am deciding between the UPPA Baby Mesa & the NUNA Pipa. They both seem amazing, I just honestly can’t decide between the two. They both have such amazing features, but also completely different features.
3 – Diaper Bag – I have the Freshly Picked Diaper Bag in Black and am so excited to use it with this baby! I am swooning over it in the Birch color with a pink interior though!
4 – Crib – We used a hand-me-down crib for King and it worked perfectly and we were so grateful for it, we are hoping to buy something with this baby that will last us through this one and then maybe a future baby or maybe not. I am obsessed with this crib, this one, and this. It is getting a design concept figured out and then looking at budget and how much we want to spend now. There are so many stunning options out there!
5 – Stroller – We have the UPPA Baby Vista right now that we love and used with King. I am deciding if I want to use it and invest in the second seat with this baby. The second seat is a lot smaller than the first seat and can only be used on the bottom which is where I would put King. I think with his size it might not work for us so I am looking into the City Select and seeing if that is a fit for our little family or if there is another option.
6 – Pump – I exclusively pumped with King and am figuring out what I am thinking for this baby and waiting to see what she prefers too. I used a Medela Pump-N-Style with King and loved it. It was the only pump that I could use and not get mastitis. This pregnancy I am deciding if I want to see if my insurance will cover a Spectra pump because I have heard those are amazing!
7 – Bottles – I honestly don’t even know where to start on these. We have Advent Bottles that we used with King, I’m deciding if I want to try something new with this baby or buy nipples for the ones that we have. I didn’t love the Advent ones, but I also didn’t hate them either so we are deciding on what to do. I swear there are so many different bottles out there that it is overwhelming!
I know there are probably a bunch more things that we need, we have a bunch of blankets thanks to my sweet mama who makes them for us and we have some clothes and a few bows! If you see something I am missing or there is something that you are obsessed with I would love to hear in the comments below pretty please!

First off, congrats on the new edition! I’ve been under a rock and haven’t been able to catch up on blogs for a while. Also, I had the Spectra pump with my daughter and it was pretty good! Definitely try and see if your insurance covers it.
