7 Pregnancy Must Haves
Babes, if I am being 100% honest when it comes to being pregnant the first time around you never really know what you need. You kind of just read all the pregnancy books and grab all the pregnancy must haves you think you need. However, through tons of trial and error when it comes to pregnancy must haves I can honestly say there are a few pregnancy must haves you absolutely need. With that being said today I am rounding up my top pregnancy must haves that I think every expecting momma needs ASAP!
1 – PREGNANCY PILLOW
I swear that having a pregnancy pillow is what let’s me get even a little bit of good sleep at night. I got this when I was pregnant with King around 16 weeks and can’t live without it when I am pregnant. I pulled it out of storage for this pregnancy when I was around 12 weeks and never looked back. This particular pillow’s company went out of business, but I have hear amazing things about this one!
2 – LEGGINGS
I think we all know by now that I don’t love to buy maternity pieces. These leggings are my ride or die in the high waisted version when I am not pregnant and I live in these regular waist ones too. When I am pregnant these are my ride or die. They are thick, not too expensive, and hold up amazing. I wear them with everything and swear by them! Trust me the Zella Leggings will change your life.
3 – V-NECK TEES
I bought a few colors of these v-neck maternity tees when I was pregnant with King and am still wearing a few of them now with the addition of a couple other new ones. These are the best purchase I have made in maternity clothes. They layer, can be worn alone, are a classic tee that won’t go out of style, and so much more. They hold up so well. I wear one every single day pretty much and can’t recommend them enough!
4 – SWEATSHIRTS
Finding a good sweatshirt that you can wear when you aren’t pregnant as well when you are pregnant is my secret weapon. These sweatshirts if you follow me on Insta-Stories you know that I am obsessed with. They fit me super well when I’m not pregnant and stretch over my pregnant belly even at 30 weeks which I am now. They look put together and I love that I can wear them with leggings or jeans. They are a little bit more expensive, but I will say they are worth every penny!
5 – BATHTUB
I could not get through either one of my pregnancies without a bath tub and a good husband that let’s me bath every single night while he gets King ready for bed. I don’t have much of a torso…my hip bone to my ribs has literally 2 maybe 3 inches. My ribs hurt constantly from about 20 weeks on and sitting in the tub is the only place that feels comfortable. No matter how big or small your tub is, I promise that bathing is the best for pregnant bodies!
6 – VICK’S
I wake up with really bad restless legs in the night. Someone from Instagram recommended putting Vick’s on the bottom of my feet for it when I wake up with them and it has been game changing. It is such a silly thing that helps so much!
7 – PROTEIN SHAKES
If you are like me you are sick the entire time that you are pregnant. From the minute I find out I am pregnant (if not how I find out) to a few hours after birth I am throwing up. Protein shakes are the only thing that gives me a little bit of relief along with my Zofran (yes I have tried Diclegis, Unisom + B12, literally all of it). If you are pregnant and sick, maybe these will help you!
