A CAR BABY CAM?

See that sweet boy right there with that little smirk? Ya him? He is the silliest boy, but when he was tiny he sure scared me…Especially when we were in the car. King had awful reflux, reflux to the point he would silently throw up in the back and choke on is throw up… That sure took this mom for a loop. I wish I would have known then what I know about now…
The Garmin navigation devices that we have all fallen in love with have really out done it on this new product. It is called the babyCam. The babyCam is a camera that goes in the back of your car and can be seen on your Garmin navigation device (note, it only works on Garmin products). It can be installed on the back seat like I have shown here for rear facing, or on the back of one of the front seats for a child that is forward facing.
The picture is absolutely amazing like you can see above. This product would have saved me so many times pulling over to the side of the road to check on King to make sure he wasn’t choking when I hadn’t heard him make a noise in a few minutes. I love that the babyCam can switch seamlessly from the navigation screen so you can easily check on your little one in the backseat. The video camera has night vision which provides you with a clear image in both bright sunlight and dark conditions without bothering your little one and also has alerts that helps to remind drivers to check the car for passengers before they get out of the car. When you arrive at your destination, an alert will come on reminding you to check your car for littles in the back.
You can find the babyCam in a bundle on Garmin’s website. Is this something that you would purchase? I have absolutely loved having it in the backseat with King, especially now where he is snacking all the time. It helps ease my anxieties and I always know that my sweet babe is okay back there.
