A Trip to the Lake

A couple weeks ago we loaded everything up and did the cutest shoot at the lake. I wish you could have seen me, lugging a stroller full of all of my outfits, outfits for King, props, bags, shoes, etc. while going down a steep hill while Kelsie was holding King’s hand. I’m pretty sure it was the funniest thing that anyone had ever seen.

It was the best thing ever to see King explore a different place, the lake through his eyes, and the things that really stuck out to him. I put both of us in our Kamik boots and we splashed in the water, threw rocks, and giggled forever. I loved that Kelsie was there with us to snap pictures of him exploring and being him.

Sometimes this blog of mine is so hard for me, it’s hard to leave my family to work, the stress of doing my best, sharing only things I love with you, then I get pictures back of my little family, of King, and instantly I am so grateful for it all. All the hard things go away and I am filled with love that I get to look back and watch my little family grow before my eyes!
