5 Things That You Have At Home for Stay In Date Nights

Date nights in, is that even a thing? It is something that we are working hard on doing more. I want Zach and I to have a monthly date night (one day it will hopefully be weekly) to just spend time together. They don’t have to be anything crazy or expensive, it is more so for just spending time together and being together. 

1 – GAMES

We aren’t big game players at our house but I know so many people who are. We do have a big tote full of games though so playing games can be something different to do that you can do together. It doesn’t even have to be a board game either, it can be cards, video games, etc.

2 – BAKING

This one is right up my ally. I love to bake! Take the time to bake something together, cookies, muffins, cake, etc. Be flirty and fun while you are doing it. Make it unique from how you usually bake by creating your own recipe or something!

3 – SHOWS

When we lived with my in-laws my favorite thing was that on Tuesday nights Zach would go and get a tub of movie theatre popcorn and we would sit and watch the Bachelor together. It was the best thing ever. It doesn’t have to be a weekly show or even a TV show but set aside a series or a new movie that you want to see and watch it together at home.

4 – SPA NIGHT

I think everyone probably thinks of this one but it is simple & can be done a the drop of a hat. Give each other massages, let him rub your feet (I hate feet so I won’t be doing that ha) and just make it a fun night of spending time together.

5 – CRAFT/PROJECT 

We have millions of house projects at all times I feel like and I’m sure Zach feels even more like ha. Set one project aside that you guys are going to always work on together. Try not to argue while you do it though because that is what happens at our house ha.
