This past week has been a crazy one. First thing, King and I were in a car accident on Monday. We were getting off the freeway on our way home and were on the off ramp merging into traffic. I had slowed down because cars were coming and we were rear ended. His airbags went off, the front of his car crunched, and all my car has to show for it is a scratch (that is the only noticeable damage when you look at it, there is internal damage). We both are okay, but it really is an eyeopener that if you look down or are on your phone at all that you are risking someone else’s life with your own.
King also got his helmet on Monday. The poor baby! His head sweats so bad in it that he drips sweat into his eyes. It breaks my heart! I know he will become accustomed to it, but I hate waiting for that time. Other than being sweaty, it doesn’t seem to bother him too much. The sweet boy is such a trooper. I look up to him more than he will ever know and he is just a baby! Isn’t it crazy how much we learn from our little ones?
I just want to talk to you about these pictures real fast. This Petunia Picklebottom bag is seriously the best thing that has happened to me. I love that it is more of a tote bag, but also still has all the compartments of a diaper bag. I’m going to be honest and say that I use it all the time for other things than a diaper bag. I took it to a football game last weekend and it was perfect to hold my treats, a blanket, and a jacket, but it also doesn’t feel like you are lugging around a huge bag. Also these quilts from Pehr Designs are a favorite of mine. I love that they are the perfect size for King to play on, but they also look perfect in his nursery! I couldn’t be happier with them. Oh and these June & January Varsity Shorts, heaven help me! They are the cutest baby shorts I have ever put King in! Seriously you guys. Ah-MAZING!
I hope you all have the happiest Wednesday! See you soon! xo
