BACK TO SCHOOL WITH WAYFAIR
Can you believe that it is already almost time to go back to school. Seriously people, where did summer go? While we all know that King isn’t in school yet, I still wanted to share somethings that helped my mom and me when we went back to school with organization, better mornings, and made the transition a little bit easier.
First up my mom always had a bin for us where when we walked in the door we emptied our backpacks into the bin. Everything from graded work to signed papers went in this bin. She knew that we weren’t going to take the time to sort our our papers so she made it easy on us and just gave us one bin for our school stuff. This kept everything for her in one place, but also gave us as kids responsibility to get our papers in the bin. If they didn’t make it in the bin, they didn’t get signed or looked at. Easy as that.

Next up my mom had us go through and pick our outfits for the week. We had boxes hanging in our closet to put 5 outfits up on and our sports clothes if we were in dance, soccer, etc. for the week. If it was placed in a box, it didn’t matter which day we wore it, but it had to be worn that day. This made mornings so much easier for us and my sweet momma.

Lastly, we each had a desk in our rooms where we knew was our dedicated study/homework space. It was the place where my mom always kept paper, pencils, pens, etc. stocked so we could focus on what we needed to get done. I love this little art desk on the end for King! Isn’t it so fun for a little one?

What organization did you have in your home growing up that worked? If you have kids going back to school or you are going back to school good luck! You can do it momma!
