A few weeks ago I got on Insta-Stories and said how sad I was that my curling iron had broken. I have a hard time finding a curling iron that will hold my natural hair in a curl all day let alone a few days. I started researching what to get next, what everyone was loving, and what would be the best for my hair to not damage it. I finally landed on the T3 Micro Whirl Trio and I haven’t looked back for even 1 second.
I changed my hair up a few weeks ago, went a little blonder, & a little shorter for summer. It has been fun to have a change, but honestly I am missing my long hair. I re-learned how to curl it because where it is shorter it curls a little bit differently. The Whirl Trio comes with 3 wands in different sizes and then you can purchase different ends to go on it that make it a curling iron if you choose to. I snagged a couple of those and love that I can curl everything except my top layer with the curling iron attachment and curl my top layer with the smaller wand attachment all using one hair tool. The T3 Whirl Trio holds my hair in a curl for no joke at least 5 days and 7 days if I am pushing it. It is amazing. It has been game changing because I don’t have to use heat on my hair as often.

I have been getting a lot of questions about how I curl my hair since I went shorter, so I thought I would make a little tutorial for you so you can look back to it later and be able to find it again if you need to. Let’s get started!
1 – Section your hair up. I do 3 sections, but depending on how thick your hair is you may need less or more.
2 – Take a section of hair about an inch and a half.
3 – Put the hair in the curling iron and leave about an inch of the ends out. Curl your hair away from your face.
4 – Take down your next section and repeat.
5 – Finish off your top layer with a smaller wand. This works well for me because my natural hair doesn’t hold a curl for as long as my extension so curling it tighter helps it to last longer.
6 – Loosely curl your bangs away from your face. I like to move the curling iron around when I am curling my bangs so it gives it a looser look.
Finish off with hairspray!
