The Best Holiday Red Lipsticks

I feel like the holidays always call for a red lip at one point or another, anyone else? However I always am a little bit nervous to wear a bold red lip. I feel like it makes my teeth look not very white and I’m worried it is going to bleed all over my face ha. Anyone else worry about these things or am I just crazy over here by myself? 

 I always see others wearing a bold red lip and think that I wish I could pull that off… There are so many different red lipsticks out there now that there is truly something for everyone. Red lipsticks that won’t bleed, others that won’t dry your lips out, some that even make your teeth look white! Amazing I know. I have rounded up my 5 favorite tried and true red lipsticks for you and why I love each one in hopes that it will help you to find one that you love and that will make you feel like a total bombshell babe rocking your red lipstick!

1 // MAC – COLOR VIVA GLAM III
This lipstick has been my go to for years. It was the first lipstick I ever bought. It is the perfect deep red that doesn’t make your teeth look yellow at all. It also doesn’t dry my lips out at all which is the best thing ever.

2 // BITE BEAUTY – COLOR GAZPACHO
This one is a newer lipstick to me and is a true bright red. I for some reason feel more confident with the darker reds, but gave this a whirl and really liked it. BITE is known for having moisturizing products and so if you have dry lips this one is for you. It didn’t crack on my lips at all which is a huge deal!

3 // BOBBI BROWN ART SICK LIQUID LIP – COLOR UBER RED
If you are wanting a red lip all day and don’t love a stain this one is for you. It is so easy to apply with the squeeze tub bottle. I have a ton of colors in the art stick liquid lip and am obsessed with them. They are perfect for on the go and to throw in your bag. 

4 // SMASHBOX LIPGLOSS – COLOR BAD APPLE
If you are still a little bit timid about a red lip then try this lipgloss. It gives you the sheen of a red lipstick without fully committing. This is what I love to wear when running errands and such without committing to a full lipstick.

5 // STILA STAY ALL DAY LIQUID LIPSTICK – COLOR UBER
If you don’t want your lipstick to move at all all day long this is the best liquid lip I have tried. It stays literally all day, has an amazing pigment to it, and is soooo good you guys. This is generally what I wear when wanting a bright red lip because I know it isn’t going to go anywhere.
