The Best Toddler Shoes for Summer
Oh little boys, well toddlers in general. Digging, playing in the mud, finding every sticky mess possible, dripping yummy summer popsicles on their cute shorts & shoes, anyone else feel me? While all these things are so cute while they are doing them, sometimes the clean up is the worst. We have had ruined shoes, stained clothes, and everything in between. I don’t want to hold him back from playing, but the ruined tennis shoes from “digging more dirt” with his tractor started to get a little old. Sweet Zach just throws whatever shoes on him even though we have “play” shoes. Ha anyone else relate? I love watching them play outside together, but I would cringe a little bit to see his cute new sneakers embedded in mud from “digging more dirt”.
I really started the hunt to find the perfect summer shoes for him (and of course a pair for myself because why not?). I asked friends, family members, read a million of reviews online, and everything in between. The answer was always the same, NATIVES. What are Natives?? That was my first question, are they the same as the ones you see at Old Navy or Target that look similar? The answer is not only no, but heck no. Natives are the best pair of shoes King has ever worn. I honestly just bought him a third pair off of Amazon for our trip coming up to the mountains. They don’t hurt his feet, no blisters, no cringing from mom to see them outside, and they SPRAY OFF!

My second favorite part of them after them spraying off and looking brand new is that King can put them on himself. It is glorious people, just glorious! He gets to pick which pair he wants, put them on, feel independent, and I can gather my things up to get out the door. Never in my life have I loved a pair of shoes more.
I snagged a pair of their womens sneakers and I am obsessed just about as much as King is. They are comfy, match everything in my closet, and are super light weight. Babes, I’m not kidding. I am sold on Natives for life. I told Zach there are 2 amazing investment things we are going to always buy for King, Hunter Boots in the winter and Natives in the summer. They last the entire year, both spray off, King can put them on himself, and they are just amazingly made.
Okay, I’ll stop my rambling about why we love Natives, this is just me belting my heart out about a product that we are truly obsessed and smitten with at our house. Digging, popsicle drips, mud, and everything in between, we are ready for you over here and welcome you with open arms!!
