A BIG LIFE CHANGE.
Thank you P&G for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own.
Well friends, I have a big secret/life change that we have been figuring out lately. Are you ready for it… To be honest, I am a little bit anxious to say it out loud because that means that it is real life and that it is really going to happen… I am not afraid of moving forward, but I am nervous of the unknown if that makes sense… I may have even had a slight panic attack yesterday knowing that it is really happening and being nervous about all of it…
Well babes… we are selling our townhome. We are listing it for sale this week and we have decided to move in with my in-laws for a little bit while we figure out what the next thing on our life path is. Will we find the perfect house for us? Will we build? We aren’t quite sure yet… but we do know that we both have the feeling that we need to sell this sweet little place we are living in now and get King a yard.
With getting ready to list our house has come lots of cleaning, packing, anxiety, and finishing up some painting that we had started. I have been slowly deep cleaning so it doesn’t hit me all at once when we move. Scrubbing walls, baseboards, windows, counters, etc. with all of our favorite P&G Products. King loves to think he is helping and I love to take a second out of cleaning and play and let him think he is involved. I am taking in every moment with King here. It is where we brought him home, he took his first steps, I started my blog, and so many other firsts happened in this townhome of ours.
As I am cleaning and getting everything ready, I am taking in all the memories that we have made here. Playing kitchen under the stairs, chasing up and down the hallways, laughing and watching shows on the couch. I love to clean with Bounty® paper towels because they don’t rip and they let me really scrub what needs to be scrubbed and cleaned all while reminiscing on everything that has happened the past almost 4 years here.
As we have been slowly starting to pack up things that we aren’t using at the time, I have been washing everything with Tide® so when I pull it out of the boxes when we finally end up at our final destination I know that it is clean and ready to go rather than having to stress about unpacking and washing everything again. I have been washing King’s sheets that he slept in his crib with for the first time, his little blankets that we swaddled him the day he came home from the hospital in, blankets that we had forts in, etc. I also have been washing our towels, curtains, sheets, etc. so everything is clean when we show it.
Right before we show our townhome I love to spray Unstopables™ to give our home the perfect clean, delicious smell when they walk in and walk through our home. I also love to make sure there is fresh Charmin® toilet paper in the bathrooms, it makes them look so polished.
I recently grabbed a Swiffer® and man oh man has it changed my life. I love that I can quickly clean my floor really good before someone comes to go through our home and know that it will get the sticky off of the floor and leave it feeling clean and looking shiny. Cleaning the sticky spots off the floors I am thinking about racing cars down the tile with King and Zach, the day we made Kings little tree footprints on the tile and had paint everywhere, all the trips bumps and bruises we all have had from playing tag round the kitchen. It is so easy to quickly clean up King’s messes and mop the floors when we are ready to move and are all moved out with our Swiffer®, but leaving this little space isn’t any easier.
We have found our favorite products to make this transition easier at Walmart, which is your go to in the image above?
