BIG NEWS.

BIG things happened at the Krum household yesterday, like HUGE people. King had a doctors appointment to see how his head was growing and evaluate his helmet. When we initially went to the doctor they told us that he would be in it for 6-8 months. I was okay with that, because as his mama I will do whatever I have to to help him grow and be healthy. When we went to the doctor after his helmet was on for two weeks they told us that they couldn’t believe how fast his head had grown and that it had evened out so quickly. They said there was a possibility that he may get it off at our next appointment in four weeks, but only one other baby ever has got it off that quick so don’t get too excited. We left happy with his progress but not putting all of our eggs in one basket. Four weeks passed by and we headed back to the doctor. When we are there we always see two people, the doctor, and the guy who fits the helmets. The doctor came in and was so amazed that his head had evened out! She said we could “call it” and that she would have the man who fits the helmets come in for his opinion too. He came in, and said his head looked amazing! We are HELME FREE people! While I am going to miss those sweet chubby cheeks popping out of the bottom of it, I won’t miss it smacking my nose, the velcro scraping my face, or the amazing head butts he learned how to do in such a short period of time. Now I will take all the helmet-less baby snuggles I can get!
Hey Dani!
I feel so bad because I follow you on blog, instagram, and Facebook and I never realize your little one was wearing a correction helmet. I’m a Mom of a cranio-kiddo. My middle daughter Paige is a two time surgical correction. We are soon going in for #3, possibly.
So glad to hear King won’t have to wear the helmet
anymore! That’s some of the best news, so I’m told by others in our community. How awesome!!
God bless you all and hope the good news continues!
GREAT news! He’s one cute dude, with or without the helmet ? but so glad you guys had a short lived time with it especially with the head butting ? Kids, they are such stinkers! Thank you for including our tee in this sweet blog post ❤️
