I am so behind on posting King’s adventures and I am so sorry! We blessed King on March 29th. Zach gave him the most amazing blessing and I am so grateful for him and that he was able to give King his blessing.
I loved the blessing decor that came together. I actually didn’t put much effort into it, it all just came together perfectly. Of course I had to go with black and white, and if you know me, you know that is no surprise. I am black and white obsessed to say the least.
A few Christmas’ ago my brother (we all really know that it was my mom who bought it for him) gave me a bunch of white dishes. They have pulled together all of the decor for any party that I have ever had. I love that I can put them with any color or pattern. I pulled them all out and used them for the base of my decor & food table.
I ended up using a black and white stripe shower curtain for the back drop. I pinned it up to the top of the doors that go outside and it fit perfectly. I loved that it was something I already had and that I could use it for a totally different purpose. On top of that I bought party fans from My Minds Eye and layered them to add some dimension and gold accents to the background.
For the rest of the table decor I just pulled things from King’s room. His room is black and white with gold accents so it was perfect to use the same things for the blessing. I loved that it was a very inexpensive way to decorate to use the things from his room.
