Blue Striped Flutter Sleeve Top
Flutter sleeve tops are such a huge trend right now and I think they will be through all of fall. I love pairing them different ways and dressing them up and down. I have worn this flutter sleeve top before, but I dressed it casually – you can see it here. I wanted to share with you how you can dress it up easily with staples that you have in your closet. I love wearing the same flutter sleeve top casually for running errands and then dressing it up to head on date night or out with the girls.

My first and biggest tip is to swap your shoes out. Trade in your flats or sneakers for a wedge or a heel. This instantly dresses up your flutter sleeve top with changing something super simple. I kept my same jeans from wearing it casually so changing out my shoes is what really changed the look.
Secondly, you could tuck it into a black, tan, or even denim pencil skirt. I have tucked this top in many times before and I am obsessed with the way it pairs. If you decide to wear a skirt and don’t need to be super dressed up you can keep your flats or sneakers on.
Third, adding a crossbody bag instead of your diaper bag or tote bag gives it a dainty look. I have a few crossbody bags and I keep a few things in them always such as lipgloss. Then all I have to move over is my wallet when I am wanting to wear a different one.
Lastly, pair a dainty necklace or choker and add some bracelets. I think that dainty jewelry is so feminine and love the way it simply dresses up a look while not being too much.
