Boys…Will Be Boys.

We just got back from a fun camping trip in Montana. We were gone for 4 days with absolutely no cell phone service or internet and it was so nice. It was so good to unplug with our family and the things that matter most were really focused on. I swear, King grew up overnight in Montana. He did so many hard things that he was scared of and conquered them like a champ! He did everything from riding the bike to fishing and holding a fish and everything in between. I am so proud of him! It was so nice to get a last Fall trip in before we get back into the routine of the school year.

 

Having a little boy and watching them conquer fears is so amazing as a mama. There is so much that comes with a little boy that I never expected, like how many times I clean and re-clean his shoes because he is playing in the mud, adventuring through the yard, jumping in puddles, and so much more. Adventuring with my family is something that has brought so much joy to my heart. It helps us create memories together and a bigger love for each other, as cheesy as that sounds.
