{cancun, mexico}

We had an amazing trip to Cancun for our late honeymoon! I am so glad that we waited to go! It was so nice to just have a week to relax and not do anything or have anything planned!

{saturday}
We flew from Salt Lake to Atlanta and then Atlanta to Cancun. I get super high anxiety when flying, not because of the flying part because for some reason I am always the person that gets their bags searched at every point possible and the full body search ha. I was lucky on the way to Cancun and didn’t get searched at all! Thats how I knew it was going to be a good trip! However, I did get my bags searched on the way home! Never fails! When we arrived it was late and we just ate dinner and walked around the hotel a little bit.

{sunday}
We laid by the beach and played in the water all day! Whether this was a good idea or not I’m still not sure! We got inside after a wonderful day at the beach and I was as red as a tomato! I had put sunscreen on I guess it just wasn’t enough!

{monday}
We went back to the beach, we just made sure to only go out for a few hours then go to the room for a little bit so we weren’t getting as much sun. We also walked down this super sketchy road to Bubba Gumps for dinner and ate some DELICIOUS shrimp!

{tuesday}
We walked the beach 4 miles to the flea market! I love the market! I love bargaining and all the fun stuff you can find there! We bought some fun stuff!!

{wednesday}
We spent another fantastic day at the beach! It was so nice just to lay and relax! There was also a mall across the street from our hotel that had this mexican market and they had all sorts of good stuff! They had everything from vases and plates to swim suits and clothes!

{thursday}
We rode the bus back to the market. We wanted to margin with some of the people down there some more but this time they weren’t willing to budge! We just ended up buying some more bracelets!

{friday}
We laid by the beach all day again! I wanted to get some final sun before we went home!! We also went and saw some really cool ruins that were by our hotel!

{saturday}
We flew back home! It was an AMAZING trip that I will never forget! Oh how I wish I could just lay by the beautiful beach all day everyday!
