CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY BARS

Valentines Day is just around the corner and I love holidays so much that I have already started to think of all the yummy treats that I can make. I absolutely love chocolate covered strawberries, I mean who doesn’t?? So when I saw these M&M’s® Strawberry when I was grabbing a few things at Walmart I knew they were a must. I thought about the yummiest treat I could make with them and I came up with Chocolate Marshmallow Strawberry Bars!! Ummm, isn’t your mouth watering now?? I tell you, these are the yummiest treat ever. I also spotted this beautiful DOVE® Valentines tin and really snagged it with a couple American Greetings® Valentine’s Day greeting cards for some loved ones (I’m really trying hard to be on top of things this year so I am not stressed out). I just had to open the tin and try them out? Wouldn’t you? You don’t want to give your husband a treat that you haven’t tried ha ha right? I must say, like always in DOVE® fashion they are absolutely delicious. So, let’s get on to this recipe so you can make them for yourself!

C H O C O L A T E   S T R A W B E R R Y   M A R S H M A L L O W   B A R S
Ingredients:
2 squares of butter
1/3 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp vanilla
Mini Marshmallows

Directions:
Mix together butter, cocoa, and sugar. Add your eggs one at a time until well mixed. Add flour, vanilla. Bake in well greased 9×13 pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and immediately place marshmallows over the top completely covering them. Put back into oven until marshmallows are all puffed up and melted into each other. Remove from oven and sprinkle M&M’s® Strawberry on the top. Let cool and enjoy!

You can package the yummy chocolate strawberry marshmallow bars and give them to your loved ones with the DOVE®  tin or as a separate gift with the perfect card.
