A Little Peek Into Our Kitchen & My Cleaning Routine Tips

We have been absolutely loving our new home and everything about it. It has been so nice to be able to have a routine for my little family, come home to somewhere that we know we are in for the long haul, and to make memories in our new home. As silly as it sounds I tell Zach all the time that I have loved cleaning our new house with my new cleaning routine. There is just something about cleaning a space that you are in love with know that it is yours and what you have always dreamed of. 

A couple months ago I asked you babes on Insta-Stories what routine that you have for cleaning your house. What works for you as an all week long cleaning routine instead of having a full cleaning day where you clean your house top to bottom. I have to say you guys came in strong! I had so many messages about what works for you, your schedule and cleaning routine, and what you would change in your routine to make it run a little bit smoother. It was seriously eye opening and we started our own little routine at our house. Plus with the holidays coming up I have been wanting to make sure that I am really doing all that I can to make sure that when they roll around I don’t have any big huge cleaning tasks that need to be done vs just keeping up on what is already done. We all know how crazy the holidays get so why not try to make that time a little less crazy?

I am excited to share with you our cleaning routine and what works for our family, including what cleaning products we love to use that help us to clean our home and make it be our special space. Here is what our cleaning routine looks like:

Mondays: Bathrooms – I clean literally everything in the bathrooms. Floor, mirrors, showers, tubs, etc. 
Tuesdays: Dust – I dust every single room in the house
Wednesdays: Floors – A lot of people had vacuuming one day and moping a different day, I do them all at once so things aren’t being tracked from one room to another
Thursdays: Kitchen – I clean my kitchen every night by wiping the counter, dishes, etc. However on Thursdays I wipe down the cabinets, clean the appliances, etc.
Friday: Catch All – This is my catch up day in case I have a busy week and miss something the other days of the week

We have tried a bunch of different cleaning products in our married lives, however there is one brand that we are obsessed with and we go back to and keep stocked at our house at all times. We are in love with Lemi Shine. Their products work amazingly, are affordable, and I love knowing that they have no questionable chemicals in them. 
     
We use their Everyday Cleaner every day ha. It is what I wipe down my counter in my kitchen with and the counters in our bathroom. It has the perfect scent to make your home smell clean without being too much. Their dishwasher detergent is amazing and all we run in our dishwasher. Some days we pair it with their Dish Detergent Booster and run a load at our house about every other day. We wash all our big pots and pans, etc. with the Liquid Dish Soap and are obsessed. It doesn’t dry my hands out and it makes our dishes really sparkle. My absolute favorite product that they have is the Garbage Disposal Cleaner. I swear I can never get that thing clean until this magic product came along.
