DEAR DIAPER BLOWOUTS…

You guys. If you have a little one you will truly appreciate this post, if you don’t well then you can just laugh at me and our little story. We all know that little ones have blowouts all the time. King hasn’t had too many until recently and I swear he has 3-4 a day… Okay, maybe not that many, but it sure seems like it. I am going to say that it is from the solid foods to make myself feel better whether it really is or it isn’t.
I have been fortunate enough that I haven’t had him blowout on me, yet… Zach on the other hand, isn’t so lucky which cracks me up because he was the first to say that he was never going to change a diaper.
The other day, Zach was holding King, watching TV, and snuggling with him. Our little guy is hot all the time so when Zach felt his chest getting wet he just thought that King was sweaty. When he took him upstairs to bath him he noticed that not only had King blown out all over himself, but that wet sweaty feeling he had was actually poop all down his entire shirt. I was dying of laughter. It makes it so much funnier because Zach always said he would never change a stinky diaper and that he didn’t do spit up ha. (I always knew that when he said that it wasn’t true.)
After we got them both cleaned up we hurried and ran to CVS to snag some Huggies Snug & Dry diapers so we wouldn’t have another mishap! I mean, these amazing diapers have truly saved our lives and King’s clothes. I hate taking off poopy clothes and dealing with the mess so I was thrilled to find a diaper that kept it all contained.
King and I have a pretty fun life, I mean we read stories together, play on the floor, snuggle, giggle, and all of the amazing things that come with being a mom to a little one. I love that we can play, bounce, roll, & move without stressing that he is going to blowout all over his cute white rug, or on the carpet. Socks: Woven Pear | Sweatshirt: Hello Apparel – ON SALE!
We went to Kings 4 month doctors appointment last week (post to come soon I promise!). Our doctor asked me if I had been reading to him and I said yes, like that hesitant yes where I have read to him a couple time since he has been born. (We are all guilty of that hesitant yes with some things in life aren’t we ha). Since that doctors appointment we try to read a few times a day. King absolutely loves books! We have just been reading the little Dr. Seuss books he got in his Easter basket. If you have a favorite book that you think we should read let me know. We are always looking for a fun new book.
King absolutely loves his Minky Couture Minkster. They are a new product they have and I will tell your right now that you need to go get one right this hot second. King giggles every time we get it out for him and I love that the back of it is the soft minky fabric for him to snuggle with. They have tons of different patterns and are so fun. I love that they are quirky and cute for a little one and it doesn’t bother me at all that he loves to have it and it goes everywhere with us. Okay mommas, so if you run over to CVS to grab some Huggies Snug ‘N Dry, Little Swimmers, or Little Movers, you can grab a coupon for $2.00 off of $10 worth of Huggies products. What is better than saving money on things that you would already buy?
We stocked up on Little Swimmers for the summer. I mean, could you die over King’s cute swimsuit and swim shirt? (SwimZip) Let’s just say that we plan on spending a lot of time at the pool this summer.
You can buy Huggies Products down the diaper aisle at your local CVS.

Oh blow outs! What I love about Huggies is the elastic band across the back to help keep the “blow out” inside the diaper 🙂

I used to think swim diapers were not necessary, until I took my little guy swimming in a normal diaper that it got to full it exploded all its nasty diaper stuff in the pool! Now we only use Huggies Swim Diapers, forever.
