Double French Braid Half Up Top Knot
This hairstyle is a favorite of mine all through the spring and summer. I love how flirty and simple it is to do and it takes the top section of your hair that gets greasy the fastest and gives you another day to not wash your hair ha. This is perfect to dress up or down. I love to wear it with a dress to church on Sunday or to the pool. I hope you love it as much as I do!!
There is a full step by step tutorial and a video tutorial below!
products I use:
bobby pins | clear elastics | brush | curling iron
1 – Curl hair with your favorite curling iron. Mine is the BeachWaver! It holds my curls the longest and gives me the look that I am looking for.
2 – Part your hair down the center and take a 1 inch section on either side to start. We will be putting a braid on each side of the part so you can start on either side.
3 – Section that piece into 3 pieces and do a dutch french braid to the crown of your head.
4 – Pancake the braid out gently pulling on each stitch to make it appear fuller.
5 – Repeat steps 3 & 4 on the opposite side of the part.
6 – Tie off your braids together in a clear elastic.
7 – Take your braids and make a messy bun securing with an elastic.
8 – Pull your bun out a little bit to make it appear fuller and secure with bobby pins where needed.
9 – You are finished!! XX
