The Embroidered Cardigan Your Grandma Has & You Need Too!
grandma cardigan || tee || jeans || booties || cross body bag
I have been living in clothes that I can layer because I just don’t want to buy anything new for this point in my pregnancy (even though I’m really pushing things lately ha) so I just wear my maternity tees from being pregnant with King that have holes on the hem line for pulling them down and layer cardigans or jackets with them so I don’t have to buy anything new ha. Layering is the perfect thing to do for winter time. You can layer long sleeved tops or sweaters with cardigans and jackets to give them more of a cozy look that also keeps you warm.
Grandma cardigans as I like to call them are back and I giggle every time I pull my embroidered cardigan out of my closet because knowing that my darling grandma would really have this and wear this in her closet makes my heart so happy. I love the little bit of a bubble sleeve with the embroidery that most of them have. This embroidered cardigan adds dimension to your look and even stands alone to wear a basic tee shirt underneath it. EMBROIDERED CARDIGAN: BASIC STYLE
This is how I am wearing it here. Pair a basic tee under your embroidered cardigan in a color of the embroidery or a neutral color. Wear denim jeans and finish off your look with some heeled booties and a crossbody bag to keep it simple and basic.
EMBROIDERED CARDIGAN: DRESSED UP STYLE
Take a basic tee and tuck it into a denim pencil skirt. Pair your embroidered cardigan over top and finish off the look with a pretty bag and some nude heels!
EMBROIDERED CARDIGAN: DRESSED UP JUST A LITTLE
If you have a neutral colored button up that won’t blend into the embroidered cardigan half tuck the button up, pair with some jeans, and then wear the cardigan over the button up! Pair with some booties or heels and you are set!
