Entry Way Inspiration
Sometimes when I’m not in the market to redo a space in my home I like to make boards of what I would want that space to look like. Then when I am in the market I can go back to them and see which board I still love the look of and easily purchase things.
While I’m not looking to redo my entry way right now, I am smitten with this mood board that I created. I love the textures and the neutrality of it all while creating a calm space. An entry way is the first place that people see of your home so creating a space where they instantly feel welcomed and peace is something that is so important to me.
When creating a neutral space to keep it from feeling “sterile” add textures. Textures add so much interest to a space and a different feeling. Not sure what textures to add? Think linens, wools, jute, baskets, etc. The other thing to keep a space from feeling too sterile is to use different shades of colors. Use creams, light browns, beige, ivory, the list goes on and on. Adding different shades will create depth to your space as well.
