You guys!! Last week we found out that King can go to preschool a WHOLE YEAR EARLY! The preschool he is going to opened up another location and we pre-registered him as soon as we found out for next year. Well, she emailed me because the class he will be in isn’t full so they will let him go this year because he turns three in December as long as he is potty trained. It has been a whirlwind over here trying to get him potty trained, all of his back to school supplies, and my favorite part getting him preschool clothes.
He has absolutely loved picking preschool clothes out. We pretty much order everything we buy online at our house so he knows the drill that you pick it out on the computer and then wait for the “mail guy” to come and bring it to you. He loved getting on OshKosh’s website and picking out whatever clothes he wanted. It was so fun to see his style and the things that he loves come through. We wanted to share with you some of what we snagged him and why he loves his preschool clothes (and I do too).
The first thing he saw and wanted was this red flannel. He told me that he wanted this red flannel shirt so he can be like the farm tractor workers. I was all game for it. Who doesn’t love a good flannel? I love that he can wear it alone in winter and during the fall and the warmer days he can layer it over a tee shirt or we can tie it around his waist. It is the perfect piece to transition from fall to winter and then back to spring when it gets warmer again.
I helped him pick out his jeans and we are obsessed with these. This little guy is super tall and super skinny. He has to wear a size 5T in everything for length but when it comes to swimsuits or things like that that can’t adjust on his waist he is in a size 18-24 months ha. OshKosh jeans are the only ones that we can find and that we love that have skinny jeans that fit him well and also have adjustable waist so he can have the length on them but not have them falling down all the time.
He picked out his shoes next and this one was my favorite to watch him pick out. He went back and forth on picking “worker” shoes like the tractor guys, or dress shoes like daddy wears. He ultimately picked the brown boots like the tractor guys wear. I am obsessed with them and couldn’t be more proud of the choice he made. I love that they will match just about everything in his closet and that he can wear them through the winter and they will keep his feet warm and dry!
I snagged him a few other layering pieces that can be worn layered with the outfit that he has on or anything in his closet. We are obsessed with this sweatshirt material cardigan that will take him from playing outside with tractors to preschool and then to church. I love that it is sweatshirt material so it washes up great but still keeps him warm. I also grabbed him this sweatshirt material cardigan to wear over graphic tees, alone with some color jeans, and even tied around his waist if it is a cooler morning that ends up being a warmer afternoon. We love snagging all of his preschool clothes at OshKosh! It is our one stop shop for everything back to school and taking him from playing outside to preschool and then church! I can’t believe that my little baby is going to school, I swear I am excited but it is just starting to become a reality that he is getting bigger, doesn’t need me as much, and is going to go and learn to become a better person. Oh I just love him so much and want him to stay my tiny boy forever.
