Free Chore Chart Printable & Kids Chore Ideas!
I am so excited to be able to share this with you. I had been searching for a chore chart printable that I could customize to be my own, that was cute enough to have hanging in my home, and that I could customize for my kids. When I couldn’t find anything that hit all those things I decided to make my own and figured I would share with you too in case you are on the hunt.
This has been the biggest game changer for our family. I printed them off, laminated them, and then use a wet erase marker to mark off my kids things for the week. My kids thrive on a routine and the safety/security a routine brings them. This silly little chore chart brings our family so much peace and my kids know exactly what is expected of them. If they want to go play with friends all I have to ask them is if their list is done. The list never changes (their chore varies) so they know exactly what they need to mark off. I’m hoping that some of the items on their lists will help them to have healthy habits. We do the 7 day chore chart and my kids earn an allowance at the end of the week for what they have completed. There also is a list chore chart too if you prefer that!
Here is a list of what is on my kids chore charts:
CHURCH – We read the scriptures together as a family
BRUSH TEETH
HAIR DONE
PRAYERS
WORDS OF AFFIRMATION
GRATITUDE – We use these gratitude journals (boy – girl)
ROOM CLEAN – Includes making their bed and putting their laundry away
HOMEWORK
