I have chatted a few times on here about how I am counting my macros. It has been something really eye opening to me to see that I haven’t been eating enough, and that I am not getting nearly enough protein in my diet. I have really found the things that have been working for me and things that don’t work for me and I think that it is something that took me awhile to figure out. I am still learning and still working on figuring things out. I think it is something that I will always be learning and working on.
As the season has changed, I have been changing up what I eat. It has been another learning curve, but I have been wanting lighter food than I was eating through the winter time. It has been fun to play around, find new recipes that work in my macros, and to try a lot of new foods. I really have to work on getting my protein in and so putting some in every meal has been game changing for me. I have figured out my favorite simple and fits into my macros lunch. It is the yummiest Wild Selections Tuna Fish, avocado, a sandwich thin, and some mayo (the mayo may or may not fit into your macros, but you could do mustard too). So, let’s get to it shall we!?
Wild Selections® Tuna
All you’re going to do is open up your can of Wild Selections® Tuna, then drain off the water. Next, mix in some mayo (the amount will depend on your macros) until it is at desired consistency. Put the desired amount of tuna on your sandwich thin, then slice up an avocado and put half of the avocado on top of your tuna! Simple, full of protein, and absolutely delicious!
