THE HAPPIEST OF WEEKENDS.
I hope you all had the happiest Labor Day weekend! I hope there was enough diet coke to fit your fancy and that your heart was truly happy!
My weekend started off with donuts. I mean how could it start any better?! Donuts are the greatest. Don’t they just radiate happiness and make everything a little bit happier!?
Next we headed down to Traverse Mountain Outlets to shop some Labor Day Sales! Nike was our biggest hit. They had 40% off of all theclearance and some other random deals around the store. Let’s just say the bags were full and our bank accounts were empty after that!
We made a pit stop in Bever after we had some problems in the van on the way down. I mean what in the world are you supposed to do when your handicapped van with a wheelchair lift breaks down on the freeway!? We started having some problems, but the wind was blowing so hard we just figured that it was the wind… Well then all the sudden we lost power to the van and it completely stopped going… We ended up coasting off of the freeway off an exit that had honestly not one thing but some rockin’ sage brush… GREAT!! We let the van rest for a minute and decided to give it another go… We thank heavens made it all the way to Beaver and put some gas in it… We either ran out of gas ha ha or we had bad gas in it. Hilarious now, but at the time a little stressful! What in the world would we have done with Matt in his wheelchair!? We would have had to pull him out of his chair and his ventilator off and loaded him up in some random car ha.
Our friend Cord lives in St. George now and is going to Dixie State. We met up with him for dinner. Cord is my brother Brayden’s friend and Matt’s friend. Matt was delighted to say the least to see him! Matt had the funnest time at dinner.
We hit up some Dillard’s on our way back home and needed some entertainment. We hid Matt from my husband in the clothes racks and Matt would scare random people that walked by. It was the most hilarious day of my life. I haven’t laughed that had in a really long time. I mean a special needs kid hiding in the clothes racks scaring people!? How is that not the funniest thing ever!?
We had such a fun little trip to St. George! Peace out St. Geezy! We hope to see you soon!! XO
