The holiday season is my favorite time of the year. I love the spirit of giving, the love that surrounds this time of year, and treats! Hello, we can’t forget the yummy treats! I have started making holiday treats for awhile now (shhh… don’t tell mmkay?) because they are my favorite. It has been so fun to include King in everything and to let him experience the things that I love so much. We made the cutest and yummiest Rice Krispies treats into stockings and had so much fun decorating them (and eating them). Rice Krispies treats are something that when I see, make, or hear of I htink of my mom. My mom makes the yummiest Rice Krispies treats and always has them cut up into squares and put in baggies for us to grab and eat while we are there. It is something htat I will always remember about my mom and hope to do and let my kids remember too.
Let’s get to it shall we? These are simple to make, so yummy, and your littles will love to help. What more could you need? So babes, here we go!
INGREDIENTS:
Rice Krispies
Marshmallows
1 Stick of Butter
Large Pot
Spoon
In a large pan, put your butter in and turn your heat on your stove to low. Let butter melt. When butter is melted add in 1 bag of marshmallows. Stir continuously with the heat on low until the marshmallows have melted. When marshmallows have melted, take your pan off of the heat and mix in your Rice Krispies! Let cool for a minute, and then lightly wet your hands with water and shape them into stockings! They are super easy to shape and if you wet your hands with water a little bit they won’t stick to your hands.
After they have been shaped, decorate them with your littles! Let them pick their favorite candies to put on them. We loved using Cocoa Krispies too to make stripes on our stockings. Your littles are going to have the best time. Let them get dirty, messy, and enjoy it. We have decided to make this a tradition in our home and are so excited to make these Rice Krispies stockings every year! You can find more fun Rice Krispies recipes here.
When your all done and cleaned up, make sure to enjoy a little snack together. We always end up snagging King’s favorite snack of Cheez-It crackers! What is your littles favorite snack? Happy holidays babes! I hope you make these with your family, if you do, let me know how it goes!

I’ve never done this with my little one, mostly because I’m intimidated of the possibility of burning something (lol I’m THAT person) but I’d really love to start a new tradition! No better time than now! (client)
