How To Cover Tired Eyes in 3 Steps
We all have had tired eyes right? I feel like they look differently for everyone too, some people get bags under their eyes, others have puffy eyes, and some people have their own thing. I tend to get dark circles under my eyes when I am really tired, it just how it is for me. Over the years I have found a few ride or die products that I can’t live without to cover my tired eyes. I think that the key to making your eyes look less tired is to make sure that they look bright, bright eyes are rested eyes in my opinion ha.
How to Cover Tired Eyes in 3 Steps
Here are some tips to brightening your eyes & covering your tired eyes:
1 – A corrector – A corrector will help to counteract the dark circles. I put this on very first!
Becca Eye Brightening Corrector – This is my secret weapon when I am super tired and the first thing that I put on. It only takes a tiny bit so don’t go overboard, but just put some on your ring finger and gently pat it into your skin under your eyes. You will see a huge difference!
Bye Bye Under Eye – Some people like this better than the Becca Eye Brightening Corrector, I have both because I bought this first when it was all the rage and used it until I found the Becca Corrector. Try both of them, buy them at Sephora or Nordstrom & return the one that you don’t like.
2 – Concealer – This is what will really cover those dark circles and brighten your eyes. When my eyes aren’t super tired I just use a concealer to brighten my eyes but used in conjunction with a corrector it is something that will combat tired eyes quickly!
Shape Tape Concealer – This is hands down the best concealer that I have tried and so many other people agree. It is a full coverage concealer that also doesn’t take very much. Start with just a dot or two and then if you need more add another dot or two. Putting too much of this on will look really cakey instead of covering your dark circles like a champ.
3 – Setting Powder – Make sure to set under your eyes with a powder. This will make your concealer & corrector last all day and will also prevent it from creasing!
Laura Mercier Setting Powder – I love this powder because it is translucent and also is super light weight. You don’t need very much at all and I like to put it on a damp beauty blender and press it into my skin.
I hope these tips help you to be able to cover your tired eyes if that is something that you are looking for and to give yourself a little bit more confidence because you are doing amazing and you deserve to feel that way too!
