IN THE KITCHEN… & A BARSTOOL GIVEAWAY!

The kitchen is where we spend a lot of our time. It is where we walk into in our home, where I prepare meals, we eat as a family, and we seem to “hang out” in here too. It is somewhere that we spend a lot of our time. We recently have been changing a few things in our routine. We have been trying to involve King more in the kitchen with helping us cook, bake, prepare meals, etc. and we have been really trying to eat healthier. King’s favorite thing is to stir. He loves to mix up whatever is in the bowl which often times ends up making a crazy mess, but it makes it so much more fun and enjoyable to prepare meals with my little buddy. When we decided to eat healthier, I knew that it would take up a lot more prep time in the kitchen, so having it be something that King can help me with and be a part of makes it that much more fun. 

We did new barstools in our kitchen so King could sit with us at meals. These barstools are absolutely amazing. The quality is out of this world and they go up and down. I love the way they make my kitchen look more put together and really tie everything together. 

When we decided to be healthier it was something really overwhelming to me. I didn’t grow up eating whole foods. I had no idea where to start with cooking or working out to be honest. This guide tells me what to eat from the minute I wake up to the minute I lay my head on the pillow at night. It starts with what to do before breakfast, snacks, meals, everything. I also love that it has a workout program with it. It is the total package of meal plans. The 21 day Pure Challenge is their take on a juice cleanse, but without juicing. I love that it is kickstarting my body to be healthy and isn’t overwhelming or too much for me to handle. The step by step process of their entire challenge is something that has kept me on track, left me feeling so much better, and something that I highly recommend.
