King’s Modern Superhero Bedroom
I have seriously been giddy to share this post with you. King’s room is one of my absolute favorite rooms in our house. His superhero bedroom turned out exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that could accommodate his toys and be playful while he is still little, but that would also easily adapt and grow with him as he grows up. He wanted a Batman room so that is what we did. I wanted to keep the clean black and white that I love all while incorporating a playful toddler superhero bedroom.
bed || mattress || bedding || 6 drawer dresser || 3 drawer dresser || clothing rack || kids table || storage blocks || toy chest in closet || dress ups || Lego train || batman basket || letterboard ||
plus sign backpack || letter K light|| white lego box || batman piggy bank || K pillow || abc print || lamp || shutters
I have a few personal favorite things. My first is his bedding. It is from Beddy’s Beds and I love that it zips up the sides to make it. It seriously is genius for littles and trust me I even want some for myself. I love that with just a tiny bit of help King can make his own bed and that his blankets don’t fall off the bed everywhere through the night. It seriously has been game changing. The shutters are game changing to me and I love that they give the room a really polished finished look. I have always loved shutters so I knew they were a must when it came to our windows at our house.
Secondly, I love his little table and storage boxes. They push together to be put together so it was super easy for me to not bug Zach to put them together. I love that the storage boxes keep all of King’s books right next to his bed, but they look clean to the eye. Same with his toy box in his closet, seriously anything that looks clean to the eye that my toddler can put stuff away in is perfection to me.
I absolutely love the modern look to his dressers and love that he finally has good storage dressers in his room. In his nursery we had one dresser which was perfect at the time, but the bigger he gets the bigger his clothes are and we need a little bit more space to store them. These dressers are perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something sleek in design but also super functional and that is exactly what I got.
The little details of a room are always my favorite. The ABC poster helps me remember that he is still little, the K pillow he is obsessed with for “GiGi” his monster he always has to have with him. I love that we can teach him to save his money with his piggy bank, and the K light is what we use for his night light at night so it couldn’t have worked out better. There is nothing better than when I peek into his superhero bedroom to see him sitting at his little table yelling “chooo chooo” and playing Lego train. I am going to soak in those moments for as long as I can because pretty soon they will be gone and I will be missing them.
So, what do you think of his modern superhero bedroom? Let me know in the comments below!
