Laced Detail

     
I have been so excited to share this look with you. I think it might be one of my favorites to date! Sometimes I get visions of looks in my mind, and when they come together they aren’t what I was hoping for. This look was the opposite! I wasn’t sure of this pairing when I pulled it out to go and shoot it, but as soon as I received the images back it quickly became one of my favorites.

Unusual pairings are a little risky, but they are always something that I lean to and want to come up with. I love finding things in my closet that I wouldn’t generally put together and making a look out of them. This skirt is absolutely stunning and under $60. I love that it is stunningly paired with a basic black tee shirt and heels, or dressed down a touch with a button up gingham like I did here. 

I kept all my details black to keep it simplistic and subtle. This skirt speaks for itself and is a piece that I know I am going to love and wear for years to come. What is an unusual pairing that you love to pull from your closet?
