Lettie’s Blessing Day
This past Sunday we blessed our sweet Lettie Lou girl. It was the most perfect day filled with so much love and support for her. There is just something about having all your loved ones around supporting your little girl that really touched me. Zach gave her the most beautiful blessing and I am so grateful for a husband that is able to bless my littles.
I am going to warn you now that there is a lot of pictures because I just couldn’t narrow it down. They turned out better than I imagined and I am so in love with all of them. I ended up taking her individual pictures in her blessing dress the day before so I wouldn’t be worried or stressed out about them. That was the best thing that I did. We also took our family pictures before we went to church so when we got home everything was done and we could really enjoy the day.
Food is something that always stresses me out about events. I want to feed everyone delicious yummy food, but I don’t want to be stressed out about it and not enjoying the day/event. When Zach and I sat down to start talking about her blessing I skirted around the food conversation. I just didn’t want to think about it, it overwhelmed me and I just wanted to pretend it would go away and have something yummy there ha. That is when he said, “What about Crust Club?”. GENIUS!!
Crust Club is a staple in our home. We eat it at least three times a month if not more and I sneak baby pies in the day more often than I would like to admit to. I knew it was the perfect thing to have. It is something our family absolutely loves and it is so yummy. Crust Club caters events which is amazing. It takes so much stress out of events to only have to bake the pies. I had my mom and sister in laws bake pies for me and they brought them before church and we stuck them in the oven hot (the oven was off) to keep them warm. It was so simple and easy!! We ended up doing 7 big dinner pies (Chickie Chow & Original) and then a variety of baby pies and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Next time you have a wedding, business meeting, baby shower, gender reveal, bridal shower, blessing, workshop, birthday party, family reunion, or even holiday parties hit up Crust Club! They offer all of their products (dinner pies, baby dessert pies, mini dessert pies, full dessert pies, pan dinners, and savory baby pies) in tons of different flavors and variations which makes it perfect for any event that you are throwing. Trust me you won’t be disappointed and it will take so much stress out of your event and everyone will be raving about the “real high quality pies” as my uncle called them.

I wanted simple and feminine decorations so I went with simple greenery (it is real greenery from a local grocery store) and hung it with fishing line and then strung pictures of her with fishing line to go in between them. I couldn’t believe how perfect it turned out and how easy it was to do. I twist tied the greenery pieces together to make the “string” of them and it held like a champ!
One year for every holiday my mom gave me a white dish of some sorts. That was the best year of gifts ever because for things like this I have a bunch of white dishes that all can go out and coordinate but add different textures. I knew I wanted simple and white so I pulled out all my white dishes and then framed pictures of Lettie girl and it made for the perfect simple yet beautiful food table.
Lettie looked absolutely beautiful. I actually ordered her blessing dress before she was born and it was a big lace dress. A couple months after having her I knew it wasn’t the dress for her. It was beautiful it just didn’t suit her. I saw this simple yet beautiful white dress with silver metallic pin stripes from Chloe and Boone and knew it was made for her. It was simple yet beautiful and had a little something to it just like my little girl. Zach had the idea to have her wear a turban and it was perfection. We found this silver/grey turban at Stella Jane and Co. and it made the entire thing for her!
It couldn’t have been a more perfect day and I am so grateful for all of our family who came to support our sweet girl. We love sweet Lettie and the peaceful calm spirit she brings into our home and are so grateful that she is ours!
