MATT’S MISSION.

I post about my sweet brother Matt on here sometimes. (If you want to read about his medical conditions you can read about that here.) He is one amazing kid. He see’s himself just as you and I see ourselves. In his eyes, he has no disabilities which is truly amazing to me. He watched my brother Brayden leave last year to serve an LDS Mission in Argentina. (You can read about him leaving here, warning, its some sad pictures!) When Matt saw Brayden and all of his best friends leave to serve the Lord for two years he decided he wanted to serve a mission also! Matt has been called to a service mission for the LDS Church. He will be serving at our local Deseret Industries (D.I.). Matt was able to speak in church yesterday and to sing and it was absolutely amazing. He wasn’t nervous at all. He spoke for three and a half minutes (which is SO long for him!) and didn’t skip a beat. There were so many of our family and friends that came to support him. I am so proud of him for his decision to serve. What an amazing boy he is. I am sure grateful to have him as my brother. 

Could you die over this picture? I mean, how is it that we captured both of them smiling and King not pulling at Matt’s tie or tubes!? This picture is by far a favorite of mine that I will cherish forever. These two truly are best friends. Uncle Matt takes the absolute best care of King!
