Metallics and Stripes are both such huge trends this year, and I must say that I absolutely love them both. Mixing trends can be really easy, or super hard. Make sure that you pick which piece you want to be your stand out piece first, in this case I wanted it to be the stripe jacket and for the LOVE tee to be the pop. Pick one bold piece to begin with, a patter, a color, etc. that you want to build from. Next choose a piece that will compliment the bold piece. This metallic tee was perfection for this blazer. They compliment each other. You can go as bold as stripes with polka dots, or as subtle as mixing metallics with stripes. Now, go be brave and mix some of your favorite trends! My favorites are leather + sequins, stripes + polka dots, and neons with patterns!
