MILKY WAY® MIDNIGHT CRUNCHY BARS

Can you believe that it is already almost August? Back to School will be here before we know it. I love the hustle and bustle of back to school, the new sharp crayons, fresh notebooks, binders, snacks, treats, everything about all of it. I wanted to make a yummy treat that was quick to make, had of course my favorite treats, and didn’t have to be baked. I went to Walmart, soaked in all the back to school stuff, and moseyed my way to my favorite aisle, the candy aisle. I grabbed my favorite MAR’s treats, and was so excited to find the new M&M’s® Milk Chocolate Bottle – Ghostbusters themed packaging, because I mean, who doesn’t love Ghostbusters, and it is in theaters right now! I grabbed the Mixed Mini Variety Bag, SNICKERS® Mixed fun sized variety, Milky Way® Midnight Miniature, and both M&M’s® Milk  & M&M’s® Peanut because we all know I am M&M’s® obsessed right? I also grabbed some Crispy Rice cereal and some mini marshmallows to make the yummiest Milkyway® Midnight Crunchy Bars!

I N G R E D I E N T S:
1 Cube Butter
1 Bag Mini Marshmallows
1 Box Crispy Rice Cereal
1 Bag Milky Way® Midnight Candy Bars

First, melt your butter in a big pot. Keep the heat on low until the butter is melted. After the butter is melted, add in the marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely melted. Keep the heat on low so your butter or marshmallows don’t burn. 

After your butter and marshmallows are melted, add in your box of Crispy Rice. Stir well until they are all well incorporated. After they are mixed well, pour them into a 9×13 pan. Let them set up and cool down for a few minutes while you complete the next step.

In the microwave, melt 1/2 -3/4 of your bag of Milky Way® Midnight Candy Bars depending on how thick you want the chocolate. Microwave them in sets of 30 seconds stirring in between so the chocolate doesn’t burn. After they are melted, spread on top of your crispy rice bars. Cut up remaining Milky way® Midnight candy bars and put them on top! ENJOY!
