It is the time of year of parties right? Halloween parties just finished and now we are prepping for all the holiday things. This time of year is my all time favorite and part of it may or may not be all the yummy treats and snacks. We love hosting our friends and family over for little get togethers during the holidays and taking snacks/treats to preschool. I am excited to share with you one of my go to hacks for this time of year that saves my bacon far too frequently.
I can’t be the only one who gets a note sent home from school saying you are in charge of the craft or the treat for the next party right? Oh and that party just happens to be the next day…yep happens to me all the time. That or I will have my calendar notifications go off on my phone and realize that it is tomorrow that I invited everyone over to come and get together… Let’s just say those aren’t my proudest moments. Well, when those times hit my go to hack is to go to the store and grab the Party Size OREO’s & Chips Ahoy. There are so many fun things you can do with them for a get together like making snowmen out of them with frosting, tower competitions, etc. Plus where it is the party size it has enough that you don’t have to haul in a million containers to the school or from the grocery store for your get together.
The bonus right now is that if you buy a party size of OREO’s, Chips Ahoy, or RITZ Crackers you can go to www.nabiscoparty.com on your phone. Scan the Party Size part of the packaging and it will enter you into winning an amazing sweepstakes where you get to pick your party! You get to choose if you go to the Rio Carnival in Brazil, St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, Mardi Gras in New Orleans or New Years Eve in NYC. How fun is that!? I love that they are letting you choose which party you want to go to. Let’s just say this mama wants to go to New Years Eve in NYC!
I would love to know if you have any secret hacks to having people over to your house or when you are running behind to a school party. Let’s be honest it happens to all of us right!?
