the nursing school life…
Sorry I haven’t posted in pretty much forever! I have been living the crazy life of a graduating nursing student! I just got done with my precepting (working for the hospital for FREE, oh wait not free WE PAY THEM for me to work there!) my 135 hours! Lets just say that my husband didn’t have a wife for over a month! I worked crazy shifts! I would work 5 AM to 5 PM then the next day 11 AM to 11 PM to be back at the hospital the next morning at 5 AM! Lets just say I was one grumpy girl! Poor Zach took such good care of me and was so patient with me though! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband that puts up with me! He would make me smoothie every night after I had gone to bed at about 8 ha and have it ready in a cup for me to grab as I ran out the door at 4:35 AM! I am so glad to be graduating with my RN in 17 days! Not that I am counting ha. I feel as if all I have been doing is writing papers and taking online tests! I am sick of it! I can not wait to have my first summer break since I graduated high school 4 years ago!! So that’s where I have been! Sorry to my poor husband and all his friends and family who thought he didn’t have a wife for over a month!
I am going to try to be a lot better at blogging. It helps me a to get all my feelings out and to remember things that have gone on! I also am going to try to be better at taking pictures! I am horrible at it! And then I wish that I had them after the fact! I am also going to take pictures of our cute old apartment we are currently living in! Zach made our bed and refinished almost all the furniture in the whole place! I think that there are maybe 3-4 pieces that he didn’t paint and refinish! I am one lucky girl to have such a handy man! These pictures will come after I have cleaned the place from not being home for ever! It was so nice to sleep in today and to not have anywhere to be until later! I am so happy to be sitting on the couch with my greek yogurt and my diet coke just blogging!
A couple of my favorite things for spring are the darling colored jeans!! I bought a pair of turquoise pants to just see if I could pull it off… and I LOVE them!! I ended up buying a bright yellow pair, when I brought them home we had a homecoming to go to the next day and Zach asked me if I would pack them for my change of clothes ha I guess he loves them as much as me! I think he was a little disappointed when I didn’t change my clothes after sacrament and going to get yummy treats. I also LOVE toms! I am pretty sure that they are the only shoes that I wear lately! I could not live without my toms! I just wish they were a little cheaper… but I guess I am helping a kid who needs a pair so its all okay! Well I promise to write more often and hopefully have some pictures next time! :]
