Our Favorite At Home Learning Resources – & YOUR SUGGESTIONS!
We are all at home with our kids now right? It is still a little bit crazy over here trying to figure out our new normal. We have spent a lot of time figuring out what learning resources we can use from home. I’m super grateful for King’s preschool teachers and all the work they have put into us schooling him at home. They have given us a lot of resources (some you may need to ask your child’s teacher to sign up for). I thought I would share what we have been using and you guys can share what you have been doing and we can all help each other.
STARFALL
This app we did end up paying the membership for, King’s preschool recommended it and King has loved it and Lettie has as well. It is full of songs, activities, and such that keep their attention (which is really hard for King) while all being educational.
OSMO
We bought the set on Amazon for King for Christmas a couple years ago and keep adding to our collection of activities/games that they have. King is obsessed with the Osmo and I love that we usually don’t have to fight with him about it. His favorite is probably the Incredibles drawing one and the Pizza Shop. I also am wanting to get Lettie the younger version of the activities that they just came out with as well.
PBS KIDS
This was another recommendation from King’s preschool as well. It has activities that they can do that aren’t mindless and still use their little brains. King has really enjoyed this app and I love that I never have to fight him to play it when he has screen time.
ENDLESS ABC – ENDLESS 123
This app did cost money, however I bought it when King was little, he still plays it and Lettie does as well now. It is a really, really good learning app. It seemed really expensive when I bought it and I have not regretted it for two seconds.
ANYTHING BY DUCK, DUCK, MOOSE
These apps have been so good. I truly trust any app that they put out. King has loved Park Math, Word Wagon, Wizard School, and so many other ones. Someone recommended this to me awhile back and it was the best recommendation that we ever have received for kids apps!
