Power balls are something that I keep in my fridge always. They are something that I snack on all the time and love always having accessible. They are something healthy that makes for an easy snack in the day or before I go to bed. My all time favorite ones are the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Power Balls but these are the ones that I made before that!
Being prepared and having healthy snacks readily available makes the biggest difference in the way I eat and stay on track. If I don’t have them ready and planned out I tend to walk into the pantry when I get hungry and eat 3 double stuff El Fudges… ha they are my weakness!
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER POWERBALLS RECIPE
1 Cup All Natural Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Honey
3 Cups Raw Oats (Steel Cut)
1 Serving Protein Powder – My favorite is Clean Simple Eats
1/3 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Coconut
1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
Mix all ingredients a mixer or bowl. Roll into 1 inch balls (I love to use a cookie scoop) and store in the fridge or freezer. I love to make a double batch and freeze half of them so I only have to make the mess once!
